Megan is a comedian, writer, and public speaking coach based in Los Angeles. She got her start in comedy in Chicago as part of the cast of the famed Second City Theater. In LA, she’s written for Jimmy Kimmel Live, toured with Jim Belushi and the Board of Comedy, written original content for Snapchat, and performed on TV shows like Veep, Parks and Rec, and Spaceforce. A decade ago, Megan was referred to a C-suite exec at a Fortune 500 company who wanted help adding humor to speeches and presentations. She referred her to other execs, and before long, Megan had a side business doing public speaking coaching.

Who's Line is it Anyway. Second City. SNL. Have you heard about improv and want to learn a little about it? YES AND! In this class, you'll get an overview of improv and you'll get to do a bunch of beginner exercises. Bring your creativity and get ready to have fun!

Day 1:
Basics of Yes, And.

Discussion of all the ways we learn to say no as we grow up. Why saying "yes" can be freeing.

EXERCISES:
Yes and conversations.
No but conversations.
Compare and contrast the two.

About Last Night...
Two or three people will "yes, and" each other as they tell a story of an event that happened last night.

Day 2
Active Listening

Understudy -
One person does a monologue, others try to recreate it after hearing it.

Conducted Story - group storytelling one- sentence-at-a-time.
